No two days are the same at VG. In this busy team you will need to be organised, be detail orientated, work under your own initiative yet seamlessly with your team towards the completion of team goals and constantly look for ways to do things better, faster, or more efficiently.

As the designated team leader, you will be required to ensure that you and your team carry out all administration duties that would be expected including, the execution of applicable agreements, the holding of board meetings, preparation of quarterly cashflows (and applicable reconciliations) along with oversight of VAT returns and payment of applicable fees and costs as become due. At the same time, you must ensure that all legal requirements of each entity is adhered to and further, alongside the accounting team, that where applicable all accounting records are maintained correctly.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and fulfil actions recommended by diary entries for corporate tax filings, advice updates, asset performance reviews, agents, attorneys  or delegated functionary performance reviews, quarterly client calls (if applicable), financial account production deadlines, fee settlement discussions or chasers, quarterly nominal ledger requests for externally bookkept entities, CDD review and updates, breach/complaint/error remediation, client money reviews fee reviews and increases and any other future actions required by VG procedures or necessary for the efficient administration of client entities.
  • Work in conjunction with Corporate Director and wider team, assisting as and when required in relation to the entities within the team.
  • Work with the Assistant Manager (and Senior Manager, as applicable) in conducting annual fee reviews for your clients, make recommendations based on research undertaken, ensure increased fees are passed where provided for in the administration agreement/fee proposal and liaise with support teams (accounts, compliance and corporate secretarial) to assess whether work undertaken merits additional charges to the client.
  • Share your knowledge and experience of similar transactions to assist the wider team and business with problem solving.
